1. Phenyltrichlorosilane can be directly synthesized from chlorobenzene and silicon powder in one step in the presence of copper catalyst, while producing diphenyldichlorosilane as a byproduct.
2. Prepare diphenyldichlorosilane using silicon tetrachloride.
① Under nitrogen protection, Grignard reagent and lithium chloride or Grignard reagent and aluminum chloride, as well as chlorobenzene and initiator (the molar ratio of the initiator bromoethane or iodine to magnesium metal is 1-5%) are respectively added to react to produce phenyl Grignard reagent;
② Add silicon tetrachloride to the solvent containing phenyl Grignard reagent in a molar ratio of 1:1 (or 2:1);
③ Filter out suspended solids from the reaction solution;
④ Atmospheric distillation, collecting corresponding fractions, recovering chlorobenzene, and then distillation to obtain phenyltrichlorosilane (or diphenyldichlorosilane).
